Alpine Tour Host

One full time seasonal position available

Responsibilities:

  • Guest Relations 
    • Welcoming guests to the mountain and providing them with detailed information about their visit 
    • Thanking the group for their visit and responding to questions 
    • Providing guests with updated and current information regarding daily activities and weather conditions 
    • Ensuring great guest experiences on arrival at and departing the mountain 
  • Relationship Building with Tour Operators 
    • Building relationships with Tour Guides and Coach Drivers; reporting key information to Supervisor 
    • Issuing and collecting surveys and data 
    • Ensuring brochure racks are stocked and host cart is clean & organized 
    • Creating sales packages to issue to Tour Guides and Coach Drivers 
    • Providing Tour & Travel and Group salespeople with information 
    • Boarding and disembarking tours on and off the Skyride

Qualifications: 

  • Successful completion of secondary school 
  • Experience providing guest service preferred 
  • Experience handling cash preferred 
  • Ability to upsell Grouse Mountain products i.e. new airgrouse mountain zipline 
  • Ability to approach and interact with individuals who may or may not speak English 
  • High energy, positive attitude, strong work ethic
