International Applicants

General Information
Grouse Mountain does not give letters of offer to foreign workers who require such an offer to apply for their visa to come to Canada. You must apply for a Working Holiday Visa, which does not require you to have arranged employment before entering Canada. Grouse Mountain has a sponsorship program for Ski & Snowboard Instructors. Visas and Work Permits
All International Applicants interested in working for Grouse Mountain must have:

  • Canadian Visa and Work Permit
  • A Canadian Social Insurance Number (SIN) or proof of application
  • Travel Insurance

To apply for your Canadian Visa and Work Permit, you must contact the Canadian Embassy, Consulate or Working Holiday Program in your country. Below is a list of Canadian Consulates, Working Holiday and Student Workers Abroad programs. Please remember that the application process can take several weeks or months.

Our Partners
Grouse Mountain has partnered with Overseas Working Holidays and International Exchange Programs to hire great staff for the upcoming winter season. This year we visited with New Zealand to recruit and hire winter staff for the upcoming season.

International Exchange Programs (IEP)
Grouse Mountain hires through IEP for our Ski & Snowboard School and other resort positions. We will be hiring for certified and non-certified ski and snowboard instructors, as well as our seasonal and year round staff. For more details, please contact IEP directly via their website.

Ski & Snowboard Instructors
We are currently hiring for Ski & Snowboard Instructors: All foreign instructors possessing valid current certification will be considered. Grouse Mountain will only obtain a Work Visa on your behalf if you possess CSIA/CASI Level 2 or foreign equivalent.
