Back for another season, Grouse Grind® Social Nights in Altitudes Bistro are the ideal way to celebrate a heart-pumping grind™ up Mother Nature's Stairmaster.
The 31st annual Grouse Mountain Fly-In is scheduled to take place August 9-10, 2008. Paragliders and hang-gliders from across the Province and Washington are invited to soar the skies over spectacular Vancouver from the Grouse Mountain launch located at an elevation of 4,100 feet.
This Vancouver classic is the true test of your season's training. Whether you are coming out to beat the current course record, to just enjoy the trail, or to raise funds for BC Lung Association, this is an excellent celebration of the end of the summer hiking season.
This challenging 16-kilometer foot race starts on the beach at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver, winds its way through North Vancouver, then heads up the legendary Grouse Grind® to the Peak of Vancouver. You'll gain 4,100 vertical feet along the way, and move us that much closer to a cure for breast cancer.
