Summer Activities Mountain Tandem Paragliding

Air Grouse Mountain Paragliding
For those looking for the ultimate flying experience, First Flight Paragliding offers tandem flights launching from the Grouse Mountain Peak and landing in Cleveland Park for an elevation drop of 3,300 feet.

Your Flight Includes

10 Minutes of ground school while preparing the glider:
  • Launch technique
  • Construction of the glider
  • Basic meteorology - the weather we need to fly
 

10 to 20 minutes of flight time during which fliers will receive:

  • Explanation of how the paraglider flies and is controlled
  • Demonstration of turns and pitch control
  • Explanation of approach and landing technique

10 minutes of debriefing:

  • Discussion of flight and answering questions
  • Packing up the glider  

Flight Requirements

  • Guest maximum weight limit: 220lbs (100Kg)
  • Boots or shoes with good ankle support if possible
  • Minimum age: 6 years old
  • Liability waiver must be signed before flight by passenger, or parent/legal guardian if under 19 yrs old
  • Must be in good physical condition
  • Arrive at the base of Grouse Mountain 1.5 hours prior to your flight time.
