Summer Activities Scenic Chairlift Rides

Grouse Mountain is home to Vancouver's first high speed detachable quad chairlift, The Screaming Eagle. The Eagle can transport guests at a speed of 5.08 metres per second across what is easily one of the continent's most famous ski runs, The Cut.

The Cut is the iconic vantage point from which skiers, snowboarders, hikers and sightseers enjoy an award-winning view of greater Vancouver's coastline. The lights of The Cut have become an instantly recognizable evening landmark, helping locals and visitors alike get their bearings.

In summer, we operate the Screaming Eagle for foot passengers to enjoy a leisurely round trip passage on The Cut, inspiring photographs that have appeared in print and online the world over.

The Scenic Chairlift Rides operate daily from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm.
