Responsibilities:
- Maintaining positive guest relations by ensuring that guests receive the best sales service possible in keeping with the company’s “Sure We Can” guideline
- Providing efficient and courteous service when processing guest orders by mail, telephone, email and in person
- Provides pricing and pass information
- Greeting guests on arrival to the mountain with a smile; anticipating questions and offering assistance; lending a hand to help with strollers, wheel chairs, etc.
- Responds to guest inquiries resolving guest concerns and comments efficiently to ensure that all guests enjoy a positive experience based on established guidelines
- Selling and up-selling passes and Grouse Mountain memberships
- Booking and scheduling lesson packages, clinics and guest tours
- Registering participants for Grouse Mountain special events; promoting Grouse Mountain events
- Acts as liaison between the guest and other GMR departments
- Encourages guests to complete guest comment forms and Vancouver Tourism comment forms
- Maintains appropriate records and completes required guest service reports
- Handling cash, balancing floats and completing cash close out procedures daily
- Assists guests with lost and found items
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and any other POS system is an asset
- Comfortable with cash handling
