Guest Services Supervisor

One full time position available

Responsibilities:

  • Full range of supervisory duties including recruiting, coaching, and evaluating performance of staff 
  • Overseeing sales and promotions of all GMR products, including lessons, pass sales, promotions, special event registrations, group bookings, catering events and all education sales 
  • Up-selling products & overseeing the placement of calls to guests, including writing scripts 
  • Implementing sales & event programs 
  • Ensuring consistent communication flow and updating information tools 
  • Maintaining information and keeping abreast of changes to company information 
  • Developing process improvements and identifying best practices to enhance efficiencies, guest relations, and employee retention 
  • Coaching staff and resolving conflicts, handling more challenging guest inquiries and complaints. 
  • Communicating and reporting team metrics such as productivity and service success against expectations 
  • Sales control including daily cash-out balance

Qualifications: 

  • Successful completion of secondary school 
  • A minimum of two years experience in guest service 
  • Experience as a team lead or showing others how to perform duties 
  • Experience handling cash and cash out procedures 
  • Computer proficiency including a knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel); strong typing skills; adaptability to new software programs including client database management systems, reservation systems, and call reporting systems 
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing 
  • Ability to empower a team to meet and exceed sales targets 
  • Ability to handle more difficult guest comments
