Snowshoe Grind Mountain Run 2011

Whether you’re looking for the fun and exhilaration of testing your skills against other active snowshoers or looking to get out and have some social fun, the Snowshoe Grind Mountain Run provides a unique experience for snowshoers of all levels. There are tons of great prizes and categories for all skill levels and ages.

Your registration includes race access and an après celebration that includes food (voucher for a burger, fries and a pop or beer), loads of draw prizes and recognition of top finishers.
Registration Fees
$25 with a Grouse Mountain Membership, or Winter Season/Y2Play Pass 
$35 for non-passholders

Entry Fees include: 
Complimentary Burger & Beverage in the Timber Room during After Party (5pm onwards) 
Skyride Admission (Race bib may be used for access to the mountaintop) 
Timing Chip 
Finish Line Aid Station 
Eligibility for draw prizing

Snowshoes are required, and are available to rent for $5 per participant (may be reserved at time of registration). Snowshoe inventory is limited and available on a first-come first served basis.
Timeline
11:00am-3:30pm Registration and check in at the base of Grouse Mountain lower Plaza 
3:30pm Registration and check in closes 
3:45pm Event pre-race briefing at the Snowshoe Grind Timer
4:00pm Snowshoe Grind race starts 
5:00pm Après awards and dinner in the Timber Room
Prizing
Prizing will be provided to first place winners of each age category as well as overall Male and Female. 

First place prizes will be awarded in the following categories: 19 and under, 20 - 29 years, 30 - 39 years, 40 - 49 years, 50 - 59 years, 60 - 69 years, 70 + years and up 

Awards & After Party
Visit the Timber Room at 5pm for the awards presentation, music and food and drink specials.
