Yesterday we gave you five reasons why an Annual Local’s Pass is the only way to go if you love experiencing the great outdoors on a daily basis (and really, who doesn’t?).

Our Annual Local’s Pass makes visiting Grouse Mountain all year long a cost-effective way to enjoy everything we’ve got to offer at the Peak of Vancouver – and until May 31st, we’re offering a 2015/16 Pass at our 2014/15 prices. With a deal like that, we think it’s perfect timing to share our top five reasons why an Annual Local’s Pass is ideal for getting you outside 365 days a year to enjoy all of the mountaintop activities you love.

Read on:

5) Gear up and save with an Annual Local’s Pass! After you’ve completed another sweaty Grouse Grind, reward yourself with that new workout wear you’ve been eyeing from Outfitters or Essentials since passholders receive 20% off retail merchandise at both locations in addition to The Spirit Gallery.

4) Satisfy your sweet tooth at the Grouse Mountain Starbucks as an Annual Local’s Passholder, since you receive 20% off every time you show your membership. If a beverage or something savoury is what you fancy, we’ve got that covered too.

3) Access to amazing events such as Seek the Peak and ClearlyContacts.ca Grouse Grind Challenge just got cheaper with an Annual Local’s Pass since you’ll receive a 20% discount off your registration fee. We guarantee you won’t find more fun (or feel more accomplished) than when after you’ve successfully completed one of our events.

2) Summer activities just got even better with an Annual Local’s Pass! Yup, that’s right. Summer might not officially arrive until June, but the sunny season activities you know and love launch on the May long weekend. Lumberjack shows, Birds in Motion demonstrations, visits with our grizzly bears, our 18-hole disc golf tours and our Summer of Small Wonders (coming soon!) are just a few of the fun reasons you can call in sick to work this summer. But you didn’t hear that from us.

1) Daily Grouse Grinds are totally doable, if Mother Nature’s stairmaster is your outdoor gym (and for that we commend you). As an Annual Local’s Passholder, you’ll save big as you enjoy daily access to the mountain during Grouse Grind season. Don’t forget to take a photo while you’re up there and tag it #earnyourview on Instagram…because it’s all about that view, right?
