(North Vancouver) With a fantastic winter season well underway, Grouse Mountain is thrilled to announce that the 2016/17 Y2Play Snow Pass is now on sale while quantities last.

This year marks the 17th anniversary of Y2Play, which is widely acknowledged as the best value for a snow pass in North America. The 2016/17 Y2Play Pass is valid for the remainder of this season plus all of next at a savings of up to 80% off the regular rate.

“In the midst of a great winter season at the Peak of Vancouver, we are happy to launch our 17th year of Y2Play.” said Grouse Mountain spokesperson Julia Grant. “Offering access to both the rest of this season and all of next, plus exceptional added benefits, Y2Play delivers outstanding value to local skiers and riders looking forward to another exciting winter on the slopes.”

As local skiers and riders can attest, this season has been excellent. Next season is shaping up to be even more epic with early predictions indicating a La Nina year. During the last La Nina in the 2011/12 winter season, Grouse Mountain received 911 cm (over 30 ft.) of snowfall and saw 163 skiable days.

For just $359 at the adult rate and $64 for a child (12 and under), the Y2Play Pass continues to offer unparalleled value in additional benefits including discounts on rentals, lessons, retail and mountaintop activities. In addition, Y2Play passholders will receive exclusive discounts on helmets and goggles. Truly a pass suitable for everyone, the 2016/17 Y2Play Pass features special reduced rates for students, parents, youth, children, seniors and families.

Since its inception during the 1999/2000 winter season, more than two million skiers and riders have enjoyed the exclusive benefits and steep discounts of Grouse Mountain’s Y2Play Pass which can be credited for helping create a new generation of skiers and riders in British Columbia.
