Photography Camp

Explore a mountain, improve your photography skills and see our natural world in a new light. Whether focused on bears or owls, landscapes or action shots, this 5 day outdoor photography camp allows campers to see the mountains like never before.

Grouse photography camp will focus instruction in landscape, macro, action, wildlife and long exposure photography. We will work on developing our technical photography skills behind the camera and forego the need for a digital lab. This will give us more time outside, discovering unique places and stunning vantage points.

Each camper will be provided with a mini photography journal and have one of their photographs printed daily. Each camp will include a visit from a professional photographer who will share top tips there portfolio and experiences in the world of photography. The week ends with an informal exhibition of works for parents each Friday.

Campers must supply their own cameras for this camp. Point and shoot cameras are adequate but SLR’s are preferred. Grouse will have a couple of digital SLR’s and a selection of lenses to help provide a varied experience.
