Join us on Friday October 21st, 2016 for our annual Fall Teacher Open House, here at Grouse Mountain, and we will share with you the wonder of our mountain!

The goal of our Education programs is to bring students and teachers back to nature, inspire integrated-based learning, and to make connections! We have updated (or tweaked) all of our programs to align with the revised BC curriculum, and make sure they fit in the Big Ideas for each grade level.

We’d like students from grade K-12 to learn about their local environment and experience the First Nations perspective first-hand, thus gaining a better understanding of their world. Imagine you are setting out on your snowshoes to track animals, you are drumming, dancing, and listening to stories that explain the mysteries of the universe in an authentic Feasthouse. Imagine learning about the plight of the Spotted Owl while hiking through the forest. The subjects of art, music, culture, history, language, science, socials, P.E. are delivered over the course of a day by our engaging educators.

Book now to reserve your spot for one of our sessions:
Session 1 – 8:00-12:30
Session 2 - 9:00-1:30 (End times will vary depending on activities chosen)
• Complimentary Skyride and parking
