For thousands of years man has been captivated by flight. For the summer of 2016 we invite you to lift off to the top of Grouse Mountain as we explore the many wonders of flight, with special focus on our flying feathered friends at the Peak of Vancouver.

Birds In Motion

Be captivated by soaring Bald eagles and powerful Peregrine falcons. In cooperation with the Pacific Northwest Raptors, Grouse Mountain invites you to witness some of nature's finest athletes demonstrate what they do best - "free flight".

Skyride Surf Adventure

NEW! Get ready for an experience like no other. Climb on the roof of the Skyride and glide your way to the top of Grouse Mountain. Complete with incredible views and exhilarating heights, thrill-seeker's this one's for you.

Guided Bird Watching Tour

Pull out your binoculars and follow our informative guide throughout our Alpine forest while discovering and learning about our resident flying friends.

Paper Airplane Challenge

Craft your own paper airplane and test your aviation skills while gliding through an obstacle course. 

Tandem Paraglide

It's the ultimate flying experience - Tandem Paragliding offers flights launching from the Grouse Mountain Peak and landing in Cleveland Park for an elevation drop of 3,300 feet.

Heli-tours

The Hive Bee Interpretive Centre

The Hive, our bee interpretive centre is where you can learn all about our busy friends. Featuring a live interpretive hive and hive panels to explore. Want to brush up on your bee terminology, learn how honey is made and figure out what exactly is the ‘bee dance’? You’ll find all that and more in The Hive!

Owl Interpretive Sessions

Have you ever wondered what owls eat, where they sleep or why they are considered to be so wise? Learn more about our resident owls from our experienced wildlife team this summer at our Owl Interpretive Sessions running everyday at 10:45am (approximately 30 minutes).
