With the snow season just around the corner, now is the time to start thinking about registering for Grouse Mountain’s Mountaintop Safety Training programs. 

This season, sign up for our two-day Avalanche Skills Training (Level 1) course and you’ll learn how to evaluate avalanche conditions, analyze a Public Avalanche Bulletin and plan for winter outings, courtesy of our experienced and qualified instruction team. 

If you work or play in remote locations, our 2-day Wilderness First Aid course is the perfect fit for you. With curriculum by Sirius Wilderness Medicine you’ll receive a detailed, hands-on introduction to this valuable life skill with an emphasis on prevention, decision making and dealing with changing environmental conditions.

Please be aware, Altitudes Bistro is undergoing renovation. Lunch service with the Altitudes menu will be available in The Observatory beginning at 11am. Grouse Grind coffee bar open 7:00am-10:00pm and Grill board menu available from 11:00am. The Observatory will be open 5:00pm - 10:00pm.
