Beehive Tour

Get up-close in a safe environment led by an expert bee keeper. Hive Tours provide a hands-on opportunity to experience and explore an active beehive, while learning about these remarkable creatures. Minimum booking of 6 required.

Remarkable Bees

In 2015, Grouse Mountain introduced bee hives to the mountaintop. This remarkable experience gets you hands-on with and active hive, under the careful tutelage of our experience Bee Keeper. This experience, available for your group of 6-10 people, will grow your understanding and appreciation of bees to a new level.

Pre-booking is mandatory.
This program is only available to ages 12 and up.

PROGRAM RUN-DOWN
11:00am - Meet Ranger at Bee Interpretive Centre 
11:00–11:15am - Time in Bee Interpretive Centre with Ranger. Detail on the interpretive hive and general bee education. 
11:15am - Walk out to the hives 
11:30am - Suit up, guided/hands-on hive inspection 
12:15pm – Walk back to Plaza area 
12:15-12:30pm – Tour concludes at Plaza; opportunity for final conversation and questions with Ranger
