New Skyride Protocols

  • Reservations will be required to access the Skyride during the winter season.
  • Advance online ticket purchase recommended to reduce lineups and interaction.
  • All passengers are required to wear non-medical face masks while boarding and travelling on the Skyride.
  • Guests will be required to use hand sanitizer prior to boarding.
  • Skyride capacity will be reduced to less than 50%.
  • Upper windows on the Skyride have been removed to allow for fresh air to circulate throughout the cabin.
  • A new boarding procedure is in place with assigned spaces on the platform and on board the Skyride.

Physical Distancing

  • Signage and decals are placed around the Resort to remind guests to remain 2 metres (6 feet) apart.
  • Directional traffic flow on mountaintop pathways has been adjusted to allow for proper physical distancing.
  • Capacity inside the Chalet as well as in restaurants, retail spaces and washrooms will be limited to allow for proper physical distancing.
  • Capacity in certain facilities including washrooms may be limited to allow for proper physical distancing.
  • Spaced seating will be available indoors and outdoors.
  • Plexi-glass barriers have been installed in areas where distancing measures are not possible.

Food & Beverage

  • Face masks or coverings are required inside the Chalet except while seated at one of our Food & Beverage establishments.
  • New online ordering and payment is available from our Food & Beverage establishments. 
  • Take out options have been added to our menus to reduce capacity inside our restaurants.
  • Restaurant capacity is reduced to 50% to allow for proper physical distancing between tables.
  • We will not be accepting cash payments.


  • Zipline Tours are available at a reduced capacity and with new measures in place to ensure the health and safety of our guests. 
  • Mountain Ropes Adventure is available at a reduced capacity and with new measures in place to ensure the health and safety of our guests. 
  • Our Scenic Peak Chair is available daily and will be loaded by household groups. Guests will not be paired up or allowed to ride the chairlift with others. 

General Hygiene

  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the Resort.
  • Signage reminding guests to wash hands thoroughly will be placed in all washroom facilities.
  • Contactless payment options are available through mobile and web.
  • Online ticket purchase and activity bookings are recommended.
  • Online waivers and forms available for guests to sign in advance where possible.
  • Non-essential touch points will be eliminated.


The Mountain is open for skiing and riding as well as our outdoor mountaintop activities daily. Please check our Spring Hours of Operation for details. Indoor dining has been paused until April 19th, 2021 but takeout and patio options are available. Learn more.  
Please be aware, Grouse Mountain will be closed for two days April 19th & April 20th for pre-scheduled BC Hydro maintenance. Regular spring operating hours will resume on April 21st.
