Before You Visit

  • Visit www.grousemountain.com to pre-purchase your Mountain Admission or Download ticket
  • Reserve your Skyride time in advance.
  • With the purchase of a Mountain Admission ticket, you will be required to select an upload and download time as part of the checkout process.
  • Download ticket purchase will require you to select a download time as part of the checkout process.
  • Passholders need to login using your pass number and book either your roundtrip Skyride times or just a download time.
  • Familiarize yourself with Grouse Mountain’s new PureClean Commitment information as well as the health & safety protocols in place.

Arrival & Parking

  • Grouse Mountain is accessible via a variety of options including direct access via TransLink (Routes 232 and 236), ridesharing services like Lyft or taxis. 
  • If you’re driving to Grouse Mountain, parking is available in our day use lots 
  • Please practice physical distancing and remain in your vehicle until you are able to stay 2 metres apart from others around you. 
  • Contactless payment for parking is available through the Pay By Phone parking app.

Base & Guest Services

  • Please follow on-site physical distancing markers and directional signage in the Base Plaza
  • Washrooms are available at the base and we will be limiting capacity to allow for proper physical distancing
  • Starbucks at the base is open for takeout only
  • Guest Services will be open from 9am to 7pm daily beginning June 22. Please follow directional signage for entry and exit to allow for proper physical distancing.
  • Please note, we will not be accepting cash.

Skyride Upload & Download

  • Please arrive during your pre-booked boarding time window. 
  • Staff will be on hand to guide you to the appropriate loading zone. 
  • Prior to accessing the Skyride, all guests will have their temperature checked using a thermal imaging camera. 
  • The Skyride terminal is a mask required zone. Everyone accessing the Skyride is required to wear a non-medical mask. If you do not have a mask with you, we will provide one.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are available and guests will be required to sanitize prior to boarding the Skyride. 
  • Please follow the designated floor markers while boarding, travelling on and disembarking from the Skyride. 
  • We will be cleaning high touch points between trips and disinfecting each Skyride cabin every evening.

Grouse Grind

  • Remember to reserve your Skyride download time online in advance.
  • Hikers without a reserved time should be prepared to hike back down to the trailhead via the BCMC Route (approximately 2 hours on a steep, rough trail). Good footwear with ankle support, water and a snack is highly recommended.
  • Please maintain a physical distance of at least two metres from others. 
  • Stay to the right when on the trail; pass on the left when it is safe to do so. 
  • Practice good cough and sneeze etiquette. 
  • There will be no access to the Chalet via the stairs at the top of the Grouse Grind. Please use the main entrance for all access to the Chalet. 
  • Please be aware that bag check will not be available this season; be prepared to carry your belongings with you while hiking.

Mountaintop

  • Please observe the new physical distancing signage and markers while moving around the Mountain.
  • We have changed the directional flow of some pathways to allow for proper physical distancing. Please follow the directional signage in place. You can view our Mountain Map for more information.
  • Washrooms are available in The Peak Chalet, The Outpost building and at the Rusty Rail Patio. Capacity limitations are in place to allow for proper physical distancing.
  • Spaced seating is available on the Rusty Rail Patio and Paradise Patio.

Activities

  • Zipline Tours and Mountain Ropes Adventure will be available beginning June 29.
  • Advance online booking recommended for Zipline Tours and Mountain Ropes Adventure.
  • Check- for Zipline Tours and Mountain Ropes Adventure will be at the Plaza Fireside Hut.
  • Daily Ranger Talks will be held at the Grizzly Habitat. Rangers will use a microphone to allow for proper physical distancing.
  • Daily Owl Interpretive Sessions will be held on the plateau with spaced seating available. Rangers will use a microphone to allow for proper physical distancing.
  • Peak Chairlift will be running daily beginning June 29. We will be loading the chairlift according to family groups.

Peak Chalet

  • Our Peak Chalet is accessible at a reduced capacity to allow for proper physical distancing. 
  • Entry to the Peak Chalet will be through the main doors only. Entry from the Grouse Grind stairs will be closed.
  • Spaced seating is available inside and outside. 
  • Please follow physical distancing markers and directional signage within the Chalet.
  • Washrooms are available with capacity limitations to allow for proper physical distancing.

Food & Beverage

  • New online ordering and payment system.
  • Takeout available from the Grouse Grind Coffee Bar, Lupins and Altitudes Bistro.
  • Table service available in Altitudes Bistro.
  • Restaurant capacity reduced to allow for proper physical distancing.
  • Please note, we will not be accepting cash.

Retail

  • Outfitters is available for shopping in the Peak Chalet.
  • We have reduced the store capacity in order to allow for proper physical distancing.
  • Please note, we will not be accepting cash.
