Here at Grouse Mountain, we take the holiday season very seriously. While Vancouverites can only dream of a white Christmas down at sea level, the snow is abundant at the Peak of Vancouver…our visitors experience a white Christmas at Grouse Mountain that is simply unlike any other.
From gliding through the trees on a romantic sleigh ride to practicing spins on our 8,000-square foot ice skating pond, visiting Santa in his workshop and meeting his real reindeer before they take flight on Christmas Eve, our magical elves have been hard at work to ensure the holiday spirit is alive and well throughout our Peak of Christmas celebration which runs from November 28th through December 24th.
Children young and young-at-heart can take a walk through our mesmerizing Gingerbread Village in support of the BC chapter of SOS Children’s Village after taking in a hearty breakfast in the Peak Chalet with the big man in red.
Experience the magic of the holiday season
Get cozy in the Theatre in the Sky as we show Christmas classics on the big screen and sing along to your favourite carols as the enchanted voices of local choirs fill the Peak Chalet with the best type of holiday spirit.
One thing is for certain: even the grumpiest Grinch or most cynical Scrooge doesn’t leave Vancouver’s North Pole without having their faith in Christmas renewed!
