Located to the skier's left of The Cut, adventurers will be taken on an exhilarating ride of twists and turns, weaving through a series of trees and exciting features before being greeted by an awe-inspiring view of Vancouver. The track is a permanent structure, and a closed circuit which will return guests to the mountaintop without having to exit the cart.

The Mountain Coaster was designed and manufactured by Aquatic Development Group, and is being built with support from North Construction. A full environmental study was completed by BA Blackwell including a geotechnical study for slope stability.

All carts have been fitted with position monitoring system and SmartCart Technology and our safety features are above what any other Coaster in BC is currently offering.

The Grouse Gravity Coaster is one of our most in-demand experiences, with time slots filling up quickly (especially on weekends and holidays). We strongly recommend booking your ride time in advance to secure your preferred window and avoid missing out.

Your booking provides a 30-minute ride window (e.g., 10:00–10:30am). You must check-in during this time, but rides are offered on a first come, first served basis within your window, so some waiting is to be expected.

  • Children under the age of 3 are not allowed to ride 
  • Children under the age of 9 are only allowed to ride as a passenger with a driver aged 16 years or older
  • Minimum passenger height: 92 CM / 3’ *
  • Minimum driver height: 132 CM / 4’4” *
       *Measured from flat feet to top of head
  • Maximum combined weight: 140 kg / 310 lbs
  • Tallest rider must always sit in the rear of the cart ensuring the driver always has a clear view of the track

other Safety Requirements

• Riders must have sufficient physical dexterity, ability, and knowledge to safely load, ride, and unload the coaster carts
• This activity is not recommended for anyone with heart, head, back or neck conditions. Expectant mothers will not be permitted to participate for safety reasons.
• Guests under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to ride
• Waivers must be signed prior to your ride
