From snowshoes to the latest ski/snowboard gear, our Outpost Rental Shop has what you need for your day on the Mountain. Grouse Mountain is home to one of the most experienced rental shops in Canada. Let our team outfit you with the latest in ski & snowboard gear. We will work with you to determine the best fit for your level of expertise. Skis, snowboards, helmets, boots, poles, jackets and pants are available. 

Grouse Mountain’s Outpost Rental Shop is located directly East of the Peak Chalet, moments from the Skyride.

*Helmets are included with child or tot rental. Adult helmet rental is additional.
** $250 deposit required for Rental Season Pass; $500 deposit required for Premium Rental Season Pass.

*Service and repair times vary depending on customer volume, first-come first-serve basis.

Damage Insurance

For $2 you can protect yourself from the damages caused by hidden rocks or other obstacles. Please be advised that this does not cover lost or stolen equipment. We strongly suggest you keep your equipment attended at all times. 

Deposit 

**All ski/board rentals require a refundable $250 security deposit ($500 for premium equipment) in the form of a pre-authorized credit card. 

Waiver
 
All guests are required to fill out and sign a rental waiver form. Those under 18 years of age wishing to rent equipment must have a parent or guardian sign the rental waiver form in the rental shop, or at the base of the Mountain.

Identification 

All guests require valid picture ID at the time of rental.

Ice skate and snowshoe rentals are available from the Fireside Hut, located directly beside our 8,000 square foot skate pond.
