Adventure Day Camps

Adventure Day Camps will be operating on a limited basis from late July through early September 2020.

One Mountain, endless adventures! Just 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, Grouse Mountain is a world away - where wilderness meets adventure, adventure meets nature and both memories and friends are made to keep.

New and exciting camp activities will engage kids in outdoor exploration during Summer Break.

Play and Learn in Nature's Backyard

With distinct daily themes, each camp is united in common goals of inspiring kids to play outdoors, make friends, enjoy unique experiences, connect with nature and discover this beautiful province we call home. This year, we have the following camp options available:

Multi-Day Camps Until Labour Day Weekend (September 5th):

One-Day Camps After September 7th:

We have been working diligently on safety protocols to ensure that camper safety is at the forefront of their mountain adventure.
All programming and activities have been adapted to comply with federal, provincial and regional recommendations for Covid-19. We want you to enjoy everything Grouse Mountain has to offer with absolute confidence so we developed Grouse Mountain Resort PureClean to elevate our existing high standards of hygiene and cleanliness procedures. These include:

• Regular cleaning of high-touch points
• Elimination of high contact games and activities
• Activity supplies will be quarantined and sanitized prior to being used by another camper
• Staggered camp start and end times to limit contact
• A reduction in leader to camper ratio to 1:6
• Campers are assigned to the same leader for the duration of their camp
• To limit contact and exposure, there will be no mixing of groups once camps have started
• Groups will be assigned with friend pairing requests in mind, but cannot be guaranteed due to limited group sizing
• Swapping groups to accommodate pairings the day of camp may not be possible
• No-sharing policy for personal items and food
• Daily screening questionnaire must be completed for every camper and camp leader at sign in
• Daily temperature check for both campers and camp leaders
• Face covering will be required anytime social distancing of 6ft/2m is not available following guidelines set by regional health authorities. Face masks are mandatory during daily check-in and check-out from camps as well as on the tram. We encourage children to remove their masks when safe distancing is possible.
• Each camp group will be assigned their own Base Camp for safety and storage of belongings and will be cleaned daily
• Hand sanitizer will be available with all camp leaders while on mountain and in each Base Camp
• A new daily sign-in and sign-out procedure to limit contact between groups, parents and leaders
• Activity supplies will be quarantined and sanitized prior to being used by another camper
• Staff and participants at higher risk of experiencing severe illness due to compromised immune systems, or underlying chronic medical conditions should not be taking part in camp activities.

*All of the cleaning products used by our staff are approved by Health Canada and proven to kill viruses such as Covid-19.

o Please allow extra time for daily sign in and sign out of your child
o All necessary paperwork (release of liability & medical forms) will be sent upon registration and must be printed and completed in full for the first day of camp

If a camper or camp leader is not feeling well or showing symptoms of COVID-19 which primarily displays as a persistent cough, they must stay home.

The health and safety of our guests and team members is our highest priority. We want you to enjoy everything Grouse Mountain has to offer with absolute confidence so we developed Grouse Mountain Resort PureClean to elevate our existing high standards of hygiene and cleanliness procedures.
