Following a fantastic start to the winter season with over 12 feet of snowfall to date, Grouse Mountain is pleased to announce that the sixth-annual Snowshoe Grind Mountain Run will take place on Sunday, February 7th at 10:00 am atop the Peak of Vancouver.

This fun, social event is a great opportunity for snowshoers of all abilities and fitness levels to get outside and enjoy the trail. From the seasoned veteran to the first time snowshoer, all are welcome to take part in the 5 km or 1 km route options.

“Snowshoeing is a fun activity for people of all ages and abilities and we can’t wait to welcome them to Grouse Mountain for the Snowshoe Grind Mountain Run,” said Grouse Mountain spokesperson Julia Grant. “This event is a great way to enjoy a morning out on the trail then celebrate your accomplishment at our mountaintop après party.”

All participants have a chance to win fantastic prizes including 2 pairs of Atlas snowshoes. Awards will be provided for the top overall male and female finishers including a $100 gift card from SHOES.COM, the Official Footwear Partner of Grouse Mountain. Awards for the first place winners in each age category will also be given out at the après celebration following the race.

All adult registrants will receive a $25 SHOES.COM gift card, plus the first 50 adults registered will receive a pair of Richer Poorer socks.
