Discovery Day Group Lessons

Thank you for choosing Grouse Mountain as your destination to learn to ski or snowboard. The program you have chosen includes a 2-hour on-snow ski or snowboard lesson. Included in this letter is some important information regarding your program, please take the time to read this carefully.

Where to Meet

Please be at the Snow School Meeting Place, located just outside the doors of the Outpost Rental Shop, 15 minutes prior to the session start time in preparation for meeting the instructor. Any rental equipment should be collected prior to the start of the lesson.

What to Wear & Bring

Helmets are recommended for all participants. Helmets are mandatory for all children (18 and under) taking lessons. If your child has their own equipment but requires a helmet, they be rented for an additional $12. Helmets can also be purchased at Outfitters in the Chalet, where Passholders receive a 20% discount on their purchase. As mountain conditions can change rapidly, please dress in layers and waterproof clothing. We also suggest bringing along extra mittens/gloves and socks. Eyewear is strongly recommended.

Cancellation Policy

Camps and Clinics	2 + Weeks	No penalty	Refund back onto the original payment method less a $50 admin fee for Camps and Clinics, and $25 admin fee for Day + Private lessons OR Credit issued for full value to be used towards snow school products before the end of the same season.
Camps and Clinics	> 72 hours - 24 hours	Flat fee of $25 for any reschedules	No refunds. Credit towards make up lesson may be available on presentation of a doctor’s note.
Camps and Clinics	> 24 hours	No reschedules	No refunds. Credit towards make up lesson may be available on presentation of a doctor’s note.
Day and Private Lessons	72 Hours	No penalty	Refund back onto the original payment method less a $50 admin fee for Camps and Clinics, and $25 admin fee for Day + Private lessons OR Credit issued for full value to be used towards snow school products before the end of the same season.
