First Snow Winter 16/17

It's Time to Wax Those Boards

November 15, 2016

We couldn't be more excited. What a way to start the day with a blanketing of fresh snow on the Mountain. Grouse Mountain's Operations team has been waiting for this week - with fresh snow from Mother Nature and lower temperatures so that we can fire-up our extensive snowmaking fleet.

Our Mountain Operations team will be maximizing these conditions to ensure the earliest opening date possible.

Stay tuned for updates over the next little while, and check the Current Conditions for the latest info; call our Snowphone at 604.986.6262; or subscribe to Snow Alerts to recieve a text message each time we receive 10cm or more of fresh snow.
