Grouse Mountain is excited to announce the latest enhancement to our popular terrain parks – a Handle Tow in Side Cut Park. The new lift will be 260 metres long and offer access to up to 20 features, eliminating the need for skiers and riders to use the Screaming Eagle Chair. Installation of the Handle Tow will begin this summer with a projected opening for the start of the 2022/23 winter season.

“We’re excited to take our parks to the next level with the addition of this new lift. We’ve listened to the feedback from park users over the past two years and believe this lift will elevate our terrain parks experience,” said Marcus Cartwright, Grouse Mountain Terrain Park Manager. “The Handle Tow will improve efficiency getting up the mid-section of Side Cut allowing skiers and riders to get in even more laps.”

Grouse Mountain is home to up to four terrain parks that attract skiers and riders of all ability levels and ages from across BC and around the world. Whether you are new to freestyle terrain or a seasoned veteran, you will find features that match your ability and progression level.
