VirtuAl Jam Over The City

Eligibility
Grouse Parks Virtual Jam Over The City is open only to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry, excluding Quebec, or with the permission of a parent or guardian. 

Any entrant under the age of majority must have a parent or legal guardian sign on their behalf all necessary documentation in respect of this Promotion, including entry forms and releases. Void where prohibited. 

The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, territorial, municipal, and local laws and regulations. All employees or agents of the Sponsor, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and agents, and any entity involved in the production, implementation, promotion, administration or fulfillment of the Promotion, and the individuals living in the same households of each of the above are ineligible to participate in the Promotion.

The “Sponsor” and “Administrator” is Northland at Grouse, LP. 

Promotion Period
The Promotion will begin on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 00:01 a.m. Pacific Standard Time ("PST"), and end at 11:59 p.m. PST on Monday, February 15, 2021 (the "Promotion Period"). The Administrator’s computer is the official time keeping device for this Promotion.

How to Enter
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. 

To enter, post a video of you riding Side Cut Park from top to bottom on Instagram and tag @grouseparks and #jaminoverthecity. Video must be taken during the Promotion period in Grouse Park. Social profile must be public to be seen. 
  • No limit on the number of entries allowed per person.
  • Helmets are mandatory.
  • Masks mandatory if physical distancing cannot be maintained
  • Must obey all signage, safety protocols and the alpine responsibility code
  • Must be proficient in the park to participate – not suitable for beginners
  • Open to skiers and snowboarders

Winner Selection
The Sponsor will select three (3) winners [1st Place, 2nd Place & 3rd Place] from the eligible entries received. Winners will be chosen at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. 

Prize 
1st Place: Winner can choose one (1) of the following: 
Dinosaurs Will Die snowboard OR Grouse Mountain 21/22 Winter Season Pass* 
*If winner has already purchased a 2021/22 Winter Season Pass the prize will be applied to the 2022/23 Winter Season. 

2nd Place: Swag bag and $250 local board shop gift cards 

3rd Place: Swag bag and $150 local board shop gift cards

Judges will choose the winners within 7 days (one week) of Feb 15. All winners will be notified via the social profile used to enter and instructed as to how the prize can be claimed. The winners have 7 days (one week) after being contacted to claim ownership. After ownership has been claimed, the winner has 30 days (one month) to collect their prize, or the prize will be forfeited. Northland at Grouse, LP is not held responsible for shipping prizes to winners. Receipt by Winner of the prize offered in this Campaign is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY WINNER (AT Northland at Grouse, LP SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE CAMPAIGN, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED. All prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable or convertible to cash. Actual/appraised value may differ at time of prize award. Sponsor reserves the right to change or cancel the Promotion for any reason, in its sole discretion. 

Conduct
By participating in the contest, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsor. Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified. Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behavior is prohibited. The Sponsor will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the contest and the Sponsor’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If the conduct or outcome of the contest is affected by human error, any mechanical malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of the Sponsor, the Sponsor reserves the right to terminate this contest, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as the Sponsor deems appropriate. All decisions will be made by the Sponsor and are final. The Sponsor may waive any of these rules in its sole discretion. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately circumvent, disrupt, damage or undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek civil and/or criminal prosecution and/or damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
