Peak of Christmas

See how magical elves have transformed Grouse Mountain into Vancouver's North Pole where you can have breakfast with Santa, visit his workshop or vote for your favourite creation in the SOS Children's Gingerbread Village. This Christmas, believe again.

Access to the Peak of Christmas is included with your Annual Local's Pass, Y2Play or Winter Season Pass as well as regular Alpine Experience tickets.

A Mountain Full of Magic with Just One Ticket

Santa's Workshop: Meet Santa in person to share those holiday wishes. (11am-8pm daily except Dec. 24: 11am-4pm)

Light Walk: Be awestruck by the glow of light against a majestic mountain backdrop. Walk amongst the fir and spruce around Blue Grouse Lake where stunning light installations bring radiance to the winter night. From a light tunnel to lanterns, marvel at the beauty as snow crunches under foot. (dusk-10pm daily except Dec. 24: dusk-6pm & Christmas Day: dusk-8pm)

Sliding Zone: Get your snow carpet rental* and…slide! It’s the Sliding Zone, providing designated lanes and groomed terrain perfect for sliding. Whoosh! Perfect for the child in all of us. Snow level and weather permitting. (noon-8pm daily except Dec. 24: 10am-6pm & Christmas Day: 10am-8pm)

Mountaintop Sleigh Rides: Embark on a magical ride through our Winter Wonderland. Snow level and weather permitting. (9am-9pm daily except: Dec. 24: 9am-6pm & Christmas Day: 9am-8pm)

SOS Children's Gingerbread Village: Stroll through and vote for your favourite sweet creation in support of SOS Children's Villages. (10am-10pm daily except Dec. 24: 10am-5:30pm & Christmas Day: 10am-8pm)

Santa’s Reindeer: Meet Santa's reindeer in the Reindeer Habitat next to Santa's Workshop. (9am-10pm daily except Dec. 24: 9am-6pm & Christmas Day: 9am-8pm)

Reindeer Ranger Talks: Learn all about Santa's reindeer at the Reindeer Habitat. (12pm, 3pm)

Story Time: Warm your heart with the story of Jack and his best bear friend, Theo.  Located in Elf Headquarters. (1pm & 4pm except Dec. 24: 1pm)

Craft Station: Create your own Peak of Christmas memory to bring home. Located in Elf Headquarters. (11am-7pm, except Dec. 24 & Christmas Day: 11am-4pm)

Send a letter to Santa: Share your holiday wishes with the big guy in a proper letter. Located in the Elf Headquarters. (9:30am-9pm daily until Dec. 23; Dec. 24: 9:30am-5:30pm)

Are You Elf-Sized? Find out how you measure up to height of a real Christmas elf! Located in the Elf Headquarters. (9:30am-9pm daily except Dec. 24: 9:30am-5:30pm & Christmas Day: 9:30am-8pm)

Christmas Favourites: Watch fun family Christmas movies on the big screen in the Theatre in the Sky. (9:30am-9pm daily except Dec. 24: 9:30am-5pm & Christmas Day: 9:30am-8pm)

Skate under the Stars: Enjoy the crisp mountain air as you glide atop our magical 8,000 square foot skating pond. Skates available for rent at the Fireside Hut, next to the Skate Pond. (9am-10pm daily except Dec. 24: 9am-6pm & Christmas Day: 9am-8pm)

Live Entertainment: Enjoy feature performances Christmas week.  

• VOC Sweet Soul Gospel Choir: Listen to Christmas classics and gospel music with Checo and his gospel choir on Saturday, December 3rd and Saturday, December 24th from 1pm-3pm in the Chalet Atrium. 
• The Christmas Revelers: Enjoy the traditional carols and popular songs of the holiday season sung by this a cappella caroling quartet on Friday, December 23rd from 1pm-3pm. 
• Ginger and Snap: Join this singing duo in front of the fireplace in the Chalet on weekends and every day during Christmas week from 11am to 12pm!

Family Rate for Peak of Christmas festivities includes admission for 2 adults and 2 children/youth (under 18) for $89.95.

*Note:  For safety reasons, only Grouse Mountain rental snow carpets will be permitted in the Sliding Zone.
