
Snowshoe Grind Mountain Run 2013

Whether you’re looking for the fun and exhilaration of testing your skills against other active snowshoers or looking to get out and have some social fun, the Snowshoe Grind Mountain Run provides a unique experience for snowshoers of all levels.
New this year!
The snowshoe grind mountain run course will include the Dam Mountain Loop, making the distance of the course a total of 5.5KM!
There are tons of great prizes and categories for all skill levels and ages.
Registration Fees and Perks
$25 with a Grouse Mountain Membership, or Winter Season/Y2Play Pass
$35 for non-passholders
HST is not included
Entry Fees include:
- Recognition of top finishers.
- Complimentary post race celebrations in Altitudes Bistro after the race
- Skyride Admission (Race bib may be used for access to the mountaintop)
- Timing Chip
- Finish Line Aid Station
- Eligibility for draw prizing
Snowshoes are required, and are available to rent for $5 per participant (may be reserved at time of registration).
Snowshoe inventory is limited and available on a first-come first served basis.
Schedule
7am to 8am: Registration and check in at the base of Grouse mountain lower plaza
8am: Registration and check in closes
8.15am: Event pre-race briefing at the Snowshoe Grind Timer
8:30am: Snowshoe Grind race starts
9:30am Après awards and dinner in Altitudes Bistro
Package Pickup
Pick up your race bib and timing chip at guest services between 7am and 8am on race day, at guest services, in the mountain lower plaza
Prizing
Prizing will be provided to first place winners of each age category as well as overall Male and Female.
First place prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
19 and under
20 - 29 years
30 - 39 years
40 - 49 years
50 - 59 years
60 - 69 years
70 + years and up
Awards & After Party
Visit Altitudes Bistro at 9:30am for the awards presentation, music and food and drink specials.
