North Vancouver, April 1, 2009 –
You are invited to share your favourite original or family cocktail recipe that makes use of locally available ingredients in the Lower Mainland. At Grouse Mountain, Altitudes Bistro is dedicated to sourcing the finest and freshest regional ingredients available, creating memorable signature cocktails such as our Peach Thai Basil, Pineapple Sage Piña Colada and Gin Lychee Martini for discerning palate. Altitudes Bistro manager Christine Russell would like to add your favourite cocktail to the menu at Altitudes Bistro, and learn how to make it from you in person in a “Cocktails with Christine” video.

The Altitudes Bistro summer food menu will include great dishes for sharing such as Spice Chicken Pinwheels and Crab and Artichoke Fondont, and the famous Grouse Mountain Nachos. The ginseng-marinated salmon is a delicious favourite from the large dishes, local flavours and worldly techniques that give the province its unique character. Send in your signature cocktail recipe ideas throughout the month of April, and your tasty beverage could be selected and enjoyed by many!

Your Chance to Win! The names of all recipe contest participants will be entered into a draw for an unparalleled dining experience for two at Altitudes Bistro. The winner of the contest will receive complimentary dinner for four at Altitudes Bistro, in addition to having their cocktail added to the restaurant menu for the summer 2009 season.
