(North Vancouver) Fun-filled summer days return to Grouse Mountain with the launch of summer activities this long-weekend at the Peak of Vancouver. Beginning this Saturday guests can once again enjoy summer favourites like the World Famous Lumberjack Show, the awe-inspiring Birds in Motion Demonstration and thrilling 5-line Mountain Zipline Adventures.

“We’re excited to kickoff another summer season in our mountaintop playground with the return of a wide variety of summer activities this long-weekend,” said Julia Grant, Grouse Mountain Communications Manager. “Summer favourites like the World Famous Lumberjack Show, Birds in Motion Demonstration and scenic Peak Chairlift are complimented by the launch of new Scenic Mountain Biking tours; the latest addition to our broad range of exciting outdoor adventures at the Peak of Vancouver.”

Explore the first of two new Scenic Mountain Biking trails with 2-hour guided tours operated by Sea to Sky Adventure Company. The 10 kilometre out and back Mountain Highway trail offers guests a scenic cross-country style experience using a fleet of pedal-assist bikes.

Soar above the treetops in the open air aboard the Skyride Surf Adventure™; get up close and with resident Grizzly bears, Grinder and Coola in their mountaintop refuge or watch a falcon take flight at the Birds in Motion Demonstration. Stroll over to our World Famous Lumberjack Show and cheer on rival lumberjacks as they compete for top status.

Adventure seekers can feel the rush on a 5-line Mountain Zipline Adventure or take to the skies on a scenic Helicopter Tour above the North Shore Mountains, both departing from the top of Grouse Mountain.
