Grouse Mountain, North Vancouver, BC. Sunday, December 27, 2009 – With afternoon temperatures peaking at around 12 degrees Celcius, Grouse Mountain’s alpine offers ideal escape conditions for those lamenting the dreary grayness of Vancouver’s urban landscape.

Ski, snowboard, ice skate, or snowshoe in stunning sunshine high above the clouds. With a total snow depth of nearly 200cm and endless visibility, now is the perfect time to test out that new gear that Santa brought.

For those wanting a less adrenaline-filled Sunday, Grouse Mountain’s alpine restaurant venues offer an ideal cure for winter doldrums. Patrons will feel like they are sitting atop Vancouver’s cloud cover, awash in winter sunshine.

Whatever your fancy today, Grouse Mountain would like to issue the following reminder: don’t forget your sunscreen.
