(North Vancouver) Following the recent snowfall that delivered fantastic winter conditions, Grouse Mountain is excited to welcome families to the Peak of Vancouver for the 5th Annual Family Day on Monday, February 8th. Families will enjoy special programming plus great savings in honour of the BC holiday.

“We’re proud to be participating in the BC Family Day ski program once again as well as offering special family focused activities.” said Grouse Mountain spokesperson Julia Grant. “This holiday is the perfect opportunity for families to enjoy the outdoors together as they hit the slopes here at the Peak of Vancouver.”

As part of the BC Family ski promotion, BC residents will be able to access the Mountain for 50 percent off lift tickets and general admission all day February 8th. In addition, a special Family Day Discovery Lesson Package is available which includes Skyride access, ski or snowboard lesson and rentals.

Family Day will feature a range of activities suitable for all ages, including our new Sliding Zone, skating on our mountaintop Skating Pond, sleigh rides, a pancake breakfast by donation in support of North Shore Rescue and of course skiing and riding. To cap off the day’s events there will be a lantern release in celebration of Chinese New Year.
