Alpine Guest Services is closed this week April 16th - April 19th and will be reopening for the weekend. Snowshoe rentals will be at Outpost and sled rentals will be at Outfitters. 
Grouse Mountain will be closed for scheduled maintenance on Monday, April 22, Tuesday, April 23, and Thursday, April 25.

Thursday January 24, 2013, North Vancouver, B.C. – British Columbia’s first ever Family Day is guaranteed to be an exciting celebration of quality family fun as well as savings for parents and kids at the Peak of Vancouver. Grouse Mountain will be offering 50% off lift tickets and general admission for all B.C. residents on Monday February 11 plus a wide range of family friendly activities taking place throughout the entire holiday weekend. 

Family Day weekend festivities kick off early on Saturday February 9 as Grouse Mountain welcomes the return of everyone’s favorite sleepless night, 24 Hours of Winter. Grouse Mountain once again turns back the clock to 2010 in honour of the Olympics Anniversary and the 1 year countdown to 2014 in Sochi. For 36 consecutive hours until 10:00pm Sunday February 10, activities including after-dark snowboard and ski contests, sunrise snowshoe treks, torch parade, shopping, dining and everyone’s favorite junior pond hockey tournament will be on offer for night owls and early risers of all ages. 

Parents and kids of all ages can also choose to experience winter’s fastest growing sport on the morning of Saturday February 9 with the return of the annual Snowshoe Grind Mountain Run. Following a scenic 5 kilometer route that includes the Snowshoe Grind trail combined with Dam Mountain Loop participants can decide to test their snowshoe fitness or just enjoy a great leisurely and social trek with friends. To round up this already great weekend, Grouse Mountain will continue to be a hub of activity celebrating our province’s first ever Family Day on Monday February 11 with 50% off lift tickets and general admission. Guests are also invited to take part in a fun range of family friend activities both on and off the slopes. Family Day at Grouse Mountain begins with a tasty by donation Pancake Breakfast before jumping on the Skyride to a snowy world of family fun that includes family photo opportunities, snow painting station, scavenger hunts, a puck shoot out, Terrain Park Jams and a special family après dinner in the Timber Room.
