January 26, 2010, Grouse Mountain, North Vancouver, B.C. – The commitment of 2010 Olympic athletes and volunteers deserves the enduring thanks of communities the world over, and Grouse Mountain is pleased to offer a unique reward to these dedicated individuals with unprecedented access to the resort. The After Hours Pass provides full privilege admission to all that Grouse Mountain has to offer from 8pm until 6am, for all 17 days of the Olympic Winter Games (February 12th to 28th).

“As an Olympic Volunteer or Olympic Athlete, you have given your time, the most precious thing that you can offer,” says General Manager Michael Cameron. “At Grouse Mountain, we feel that gift deserves to be recognized. Which is why we are honoured to provide a complimentary Grouse Mountain After Hours Pass, as your ticket to evening and morning skiing, snowboarding, and celebrating at Vancouver’s most famous peak.”

Thousands of volunteers and athletes are expected to claim their complimentary pass, bringing the total value of the donation to well over $1 million. Grouse Mountain's unique After Hours Pass is also available to the general public at a regular price of $150.

The contribution of the After Hours Pass to these highly deserving individuals guarantees them an opportunity to make tracks on the iconic Cut run at 3am as the lights of the city sparkle below, or snowshoe to the peak of neighbouring Dam Mountain for a bird’s eye view of sunrise over Vancouver. Grouse Mountain is open 24/7 for the full 17 days of the Games offering a variety of activities and events that showcase: the finest alpine sports, live entertainment, restaurant venues, medal highlight viewing and audience participation for the Today show well into the wee hours of the morning.

Olympic athletes and volunteers should visit our website to find out how to claim their passes.
