Operational Update - Annual Skyride Maintenance
Mountain Closure for planned Skyride Maintenance November 2nd to 6th As we get ready to welcome you back to hit the slopes this winter, our team is working on a number of projects around the Mountain. The Bears Weigh In
went into hibernation in November at 921 pounds and Coola weighed 1056 pounds and shortly after emerging their weights were recorded as 727 pounds for Grinder and 850 pounds for Coola! This represents about a 200 pound drop, or about 20% of their body weight, for both bears over the nearly five months that they were in hibernation.
