Santa’s Coming to Town! Peak of Christmas Returns to Grouse Mountain
The annual festivities supporting Family Services of the North Shore includes Santa’s Workshop, live entertainment, Breakfast with Santa, Christmas movies, and more at Vancouver’s North Pole

NORTH VANCOUVER, November 5, 2025 – Grouse Mountain Resort is thrilled to announce the return of its annual Peak of Christmas from Friday, November 21 – Wednesday, December 24, 2025. Guests are invited to discover holiday magic with a variety of festive activities around the Mountain. Throughout the event, Grouse Mountain is donating all proceeds from Santa photos to Family Services of the North Shore. A limited quantity of tickets and Breakfast with Santa reservations will be available starting today on grousemountain.com.
“As the Mountain transforms into Vancouver’s own North Pole, the spirit of the season truly comes alive,” says Emily Leak, Communications Manager, Grouse Mountain Resort. “The annual Peak of Christmas is a celebration of joy, togetherness, and holiday magic, and we’re honoured to share that spirit with generations of guests who make Grouse Mountain part of their traditions, while also giving back to our community through Family Services of the North Shore.”
This year’s Peak of Christmas has something for everyone. The schedule includes:
- The Light Walk: a festive trail around the Blue Grouse Lake illuminated by enchanting light installations, perfect for walking or snowshoeing | Daily from 9:00 am – Close
- Photos with Santa: meet and greet in Santa’s Workshop, including a photo opportunity! Photos can be purchased for $5, with proceeds supporting Family Services of the North Shore | November 21 – December 24 at varying times
- Elf Headquarters: crafty fun for little ones with DIY ornaments, writing letters to Santa, and more | Daily from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm (*10:00 am – 4:00 pm on December 24 & 25)
- Reindeer Talks: visit with Vixen daily from 9:00 am – Close, and learn more about Santa’s reindeer during daily Reindeer Talks | Daily at 12:00 pm & 3:00 pm
- Sleigh Rides: join a magical journey around the mountaintop and through the snow-covered forests | Daily from 11:00 am – 8:00 pm (*Conditions permitting)
- Christmas Movies: continuous showings of short holiday films the whole family will love at the Theatre in the Sky | Daily
- Breakfast with Santa: delectable breakfast buffet with the season’s biggest celebrity himself, along with Santa’s head elves, and crafts & entertainment for the family | December 6 & 7, 13 – 24 from 8:00 – 10:00 am
- Figure Skating Shows: local emerging skaters performing a festive routine on the mountaintop Ice Skating Pond | Select dates in December from 2:30 – 3:00 pm
- Live Entertainment: a variety of special performances at Peak Chalet, including live classic carolers, talented choirs, roaming elves, and the Grinch! | Select dates in December
- And more!
Most activities are included with the purchase of a Mountain Admission Ticket, Lift Ticket, or valid Grouse Mountain Pass. Families can receive a special day ticket Family Rate from $99, or secure a Family Annual Pass for 50% off for a limited time only, with the option to put the cost of a day ticket towards an Annual Pass purchase.
