Alpine Blazers CAMP (Ages 8-12)

Grouse Mountain Alpine Blazers camps provide a unique and fun filled learning experience for kids ages 8-12. Camp programs engage youth in winter outdoor exploration, snow related adventures and activities, BC culture and BC wildlife. Grouse Mountain Adventure camps and leaders are united in the common goals of inspiring youth to spend more time outdoors, experience ‘only here’ activities, make friends, play, connect with nature and discover our beautiful backyard! 

These camps are multi-day, week-long camps (single day camps are also available).
   
Dates:
  • Camp A:  Monday, March 18 - Friday, March 22, 2024
  • Camp B:  Monday, March 25 - Friday, March 29, 2024 

Times:
  • Drop-off at 8:15am 
  • Pick-up at 3:15pm

Camp Check-in and Out 
Camp Check-In is at 8:15am at the base of the mountain, underneath the Red Skyride and in the plaza area, outside Starbucks. You will receive an email in the lead-up to your child’s camp with a check-in number. Once parked, please proceed to your designated check-in number.

Check-out is from the base of the Mountain at 3:15pm. Please proceed to your designated check-in number. 

What to Wear and Bring
  • Mountain conditions change rapidly. Please dress your child in layers and appropriately for the weather. Check Today on Grouse for current Grouse Mountain weather.
  • Camps run snow, rain, or shine and activities will continue outside. Please include waterproof winter jacket, pants, extra socks and layers.
  • We recommend winter or hiking boots. Closed-toed shoes only (no sandals)
  • Pack a hat, toque, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a change of clothes.
  • A reusable water bottle.
  • A backpack
  • Please provide your child with a lunch and snacks that are easy-to-eat outside.

Food and Snacks
All programs stop for snack breaks, water breaks and lunch.
  • All campers must bring a lunch and snacks to camp. No food will be provided or available for purchase.
  • Camps are a ‘Nut Free’ zone. Please help us keep campers safe and refrain from including any food containing nuts.
