Bears Enter Summer habitat for 2020 Season let the exploration begin! On May 8th our two Grizzly Bears, Grinder and Coola, entered their large summer habitat earlier than previous seasons.  The bears, awake and out of hibernation since April 21st, welcomed the opportunity to explore their familiar habitat and to play in the large mounds of snow that are still present.The new habitat includes

Grinder and Coola Weigh In Grinder and Coola, our two resident bears, are doing well now that they have emerged from their 2019/2020 hibernation on April 21st after a 144 day winter dormancy period.  On the day they emerged both bears were too excited to sit still on our weigh scale but since then we have started their daily routine of sitting for wildlife staff to record their weight.  Grinder
