When will the Grouse Bike Park open?
Grouse Bike Park officially opened on Friday, June 6, 2025.

How long is the Grouse Bike Park season?
The season runs from June 6th until October (closing date TBC).

What are the Grouse Bike Park hours of operation?
Bike Park hours of operation are 10am-8pm, with the closing hour adjusted on shorter days.

How do I get my bike to the mountaintop?
You can access the mountaintop with your bike using the Red Skyride. This is the primary mountain access lift for riders heading up with their bikes.

Where will the bike trails finish?
All trails lead back to the Screaming Eagle chairlift, making this the only lift-accessed bike park on the North Shore.

Can I access Grouse Bike Park from Mountain Highway?
Riders without a valid Bike Park Season Pass are not able to access the bike park via Mountain Highway. 

Are bike and equipment rentals available?
Yes! You can book bike rentals online in advance to save time and money. Our rental fleet includes 60 Norco Shore bikes in sizes ranging from 20-inches to XL. Equipment rentals are also available. 

Are season passes and day tickets available?
Yes! We are offering both day tickets and a limited number of season passes

Is there a minimum age to ride?
Riders must be at least 6 years old to access the park.

Are lessons and camps available to book?
Yes! Available to book now, Mavericks Mountain Bike Camps (ages 7–14) will deliver five days of adventure, skill-building, and confidence on two wheels. Bookings open soon for our 3-hour Group Lessons (riders ages 7+) which will run twice daily and provide expert instruction for beginner to intermediate levels.

Can I ride my bike outside Grouse Bike Park?
No, bikes are only allowed within the designated bike park. However, there are bike racks on the mountaintop and locks are available for rent if you want to explore the mountain on foot. Bikes are restricted to the designated area.

Are e-bikes permitted in the park?
E-bikes are permitted for downhill riding only in the park; uphill travel or climbing is not allowed.

How many trails are available?
Grouse Bike Park is now open with 11 trails and a learning zone, with an additional 3 trails expected to launch mid-summer.  View the Trail Map.

What types of trails are there?
The bike park is designed to cater to riders of all skill levels, with a focus on progression. Riders can look forward to a variety of tracks, including beginner green and blue flow trails, a blue jump line, single black technical trails and advanced intermediate and expert trails. A double black jump line will also open in August, with additional blue and single black technical trails slated to open later this summer.

What is the required safety gear?
Helmets are mandatory. Full-face helmets and other protective gear are strongly recommended.

Who built Grouse Bike Park?
Grouse Bike Park was built by Gravity Logic. Gravity Logic is a leading professional mountain bike trail and park design, and construction company based in Whistler with North Shore roots.
