Summer Adventure Camps
Thank you for choosing Grouse Mountain as your child’s destination for their Summer Adventure Camp program. Included in this letter is some important information. Please take the time to read this carefully.
Food & Snacks
Camp check in time is 8:30am, pick-up time is 3:30pm
If you have registered in After Camp, it is from 3:30-5pm
Drop off and Pick-Up Area
Camp check-in is located at the base of the mountain, in the plaza area in front of the Blue Grouse Gondola. You will receive an email in the lead up to your child's camp with a check-in number. Once parked, please proceed to your designated check-in number. Parking is complimentary for 20 minutes for camp drop off and pick-up.
After Camp
Your child will seamlessly transition to our after-camp location, where they'll enjoy engaging activities until we head down the mountain for a 5pm pick-up. We offer one convenient pick-up time at the base of the mountain to ensure every
camper has a delightful after-camp experience and can fully capitalize on our exciting adventures. Please pack extra snacks if your child is attending this program extension.
Friend Pairings
We understand that keeping your child with their friend for camp might be important to you and will do our best to accommodate all requests, but cannot guarantee friend pairings.
Please note that camp groups are arranged by age. If friends are different ages but registered in the same age category, we will move the older child to the younger group. Campers will not be moved from Alpine Blazers to Pathfinders, or vice versa.
What to Wear and Bring
- Mountain conditions change rapidly. Please dress your child in layers and appropriately for the weather.
- Camps run rain or shine and activities will continue outside in the rain. Please included waterproof jacket and pants.
- Closed toed shoes only. We recommend hiking or running shoes. No sandals
- We recommend packing a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and extra socks.
- A reusable water bottle and snacks.
- If you did not purchase any food during registration, please provide your child with a hearty lunch and snacks. Camps are a 'Nut Free' zone, please help us keep campers safe and refrain from including any food containing nuts.
All programs stop for snack breaks, water breaks and lunch. If you have not purchased a Grouse lunch, please pack a hearty lunch, snacks and water for your child. If you have purchased lunch, please ensure your child has additional
snacks to keep them energetic throughout the day.
If your child is registered in After Care and you have purchased a Grouse Mountain lunch, please pack a few extra snacks for After Care.
Please be aware Camps are a ‘Nut Free’ zone, please help us keep children safe and refrain from including any food containing nuts.
