Excavations Begin on Bear Habitat!
look outside, or roll around in the snow that has blown into their bear den. Seeing this, we have begun our excavations of the bear's hibernation habitat adjacent to the bear den. This process will take up to two weeks and then we will put the fence up and allow the bears to official end their hibernation. For now we will continue to work at preparing their home and monitoring their behaviours.More

Karen Magnussen Ice Skate
to put more of BC’s youth on the world stage in the years to come. Skate lessons are available for all levels and are free of charge. Partial proceeds from skate rentals will be donated to the Karen Magnussen Foundation. On December 16th, a flurry of skaters take the ice for an exciting show orchestrated to music and MC’ed by Karen’s husband. Lessons: Dec. 8, 16, 22 Session 1: 1pm-2pm Session 2

Grouse Mountain Moment Contest - Aug. 5
, the staff are amazing too, some of them I have even got to know by name, traveling the gondola on so many occasions.I have learned the Gondola speech off by heart that I often recite it to your staff.. "we are about to approach the first of two towers the gondola may sway a bit so we ask to steady yourself". I am happy to share my memories and photo with you and appreciate Grouse Mountain everyday
