Alpha the Wolf It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our lone remaining Timber Wolf - Alpha. Alpha was captive born in the spring of 2001 and arrived at the Grouse Mountain Refuge for Endangered Wildlife on June 8, 2004 as part of a pack of 4 wolves – retired from the movie industry. Alpha led a long and healthy life here at Grouse Mountain. He turned 15 years old
